Kamalia is prominent due to its fertile agriculture lands. Sugar Cane, Wheat, Rice and Cotton are common crops. Khadar (100 % Cotton Fabric) hand mad and on power lomes is manufacturing is a major product of Kamalia. Khais, Maju, Carpets and Darri are also producing manually on hand looms. In poltry, layer production in Kamalia is no 1 in Punjab and no 2 in Pakistan after Karachi.

A number of hatcheries, feed mills and poultry forms are available. Thousands of man power engaged and employed in poltry business. Kamalia Sugar Mill, Rice Mills and Cold Storages and Poultry Feed Mills are major industries in Kamalia.
